This is an essay on society and equity
There is reasoning for whether or not it is possible for society to be fair to everyone.
I believe that its not possible for society to be fair to everyone because there is competition, perspectives, and different opinions of society itself.
The way that people are raised changes their outlook on certain situations. Society is unfair because there is competition. Competition allows for superiority and satisfaction among others. Society won’t allow for fairness.
People change within a society because of perspectives. Perspectives in a society will change the balance of equality and cause unfairness. It isn't possible for society to be fair because of these perspectives. Society is very complex, which causes differences and changes to the people who are involved in that society. The way that society works is the people of the town or community choose what happens in the society. There isn't a form of democracy, its just the choices that people make that give the impression of democracy in a society. I have personally witnessed how people change the way society is perceived.
Although the people of the town or community make up what society is, there’s still a form of unfairness. This unfairness becomes a challenge to the people who are involved in the decision making of what the society will consist of. Society is the outcome of what the people of the town or community have made a decision on. In other words, putting your opinion in on how a society should run or work leads the community that we have today.
Society is ultimately unfair because the way that society is created depends on people’s decisions within that community, and along with other societies there are people that don’t agree with some of the situations that will arise within the community causing competition, perspectives, and opinions.

compulsory voting
Compulsory voting. What is compulsory voting? Well, compulsory voting is government requiring citizens to participate in voting. There are many arguments for and against this mandatory voting. But in my opinion, I believe that there are way more reasons why we should not require all citizens to vote. Reasons such a; it is completely Un-American, it could cause people to be irrational about politics, and a lot of votes could potentially be purposely invalid.
America's Nicknamed "Land of the Free" right? Well if a compulsory voting law is passed, we would be lying to ourselves that we would still be "Land of the free". Passing a law like compulsory voting would begin to deplete the idea that we are truly a "Free" nation. If we are forced to vote, we wouldn't have the freedom that our nation is founded on. Voting is not an obligation. Even for some people, it's completely against their personal beliefs. For example, there are some religions that completely frown upon voting and it would even be against their beliefs. Requiring these people to vote could potentially go against the constitution. In the first amendment, it states that Congress shall make no law restricting establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof. So you see; forcing everyone to participate in voting would also include the members of such religious groups, which violates their rights to practice their religion.
Compulsory voting is a bad idea because it could cause people to be irrational when they vote. Already, our nation has about 60% of Americans voting. According to an article, high turnout rate would be a disaster, the majority of voters today in America are people who are irrational about politics. Creating mandatory voting would force people to get involved in something they know absolutely nothing about. Very few people are going to get more involved in politics just because their government told them to. People who aren't already voting most likely aren't voting for a reason. In turn without those individuals voting there would not be an accurate outcome because it could cause our country to elect a president who most people don't really know anything about.
Trying to make all citizens vote would be a complete disaster. According to an article about compulsory voting, "It has been proven that forcing the population to vote, results in an increased number of invalid and blank votes compared to countries that have no compulsory voting laws". Already only about 60% of registered voters voted. 40% of registered voters didn't. The rest of America isn't even registered to vote. So imagine that the rest of America DOES start voting. The number of votes that aren't based on true knowledge would most likely outweigh the amount of voters that do know what is going on in the political world. This could potentially cause us to elect a president who isn't fit to run our nation. Instead of requiring all Americans to vote, we should encourage well educated citizens to vote, and not ignorant ones.
So as you see, compulsory voting should absolutely not come into effect. The reasons being is it's simply Un American, it could potentially cause some people to be irrational about politics, and the number of flawed votes would increase drastically. Which would absolutely cause a polar opposite effect in which our founders would have not agreed with. There are many people who agree that compulsory voting should not be legal, as I am one of them.
